El Arte según Neil Gaiman
My venn diagram of Neil Gaiman’s advice for working freelance from this amazing speech http://vimeo.com/42372767
I hear this a lot and believe it to be true. If you are quick/reliable + assertive/kind, you can land jobs despite not being the most talented person considered.

Pixel Arts by Jaebum Joo
When Jaebum heard the term “pixel art”, he took it quite literally and reimagined these classical pieces as pixelated Game Boy games. Complete with gaming cartridge, these masterpieces have been reduced to their simplest form: pixelized green on green on green screen.

Que le den a todo.
Study of Perspective (1995-2003) is a series of photographs by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. Each photograph shows the artist flipping his middle finger at many iconic landmarks and places across the world. His gesture confronts the viewers with a universal statement of political opposition.

Arte funcional (y lo digo porque el Código QR funciona de verdad)
SUBMISSION: To promote the launch of his new website and blog, London-based photographer David Sykes decided to create a QR code out of objects such as boots, calculators, briefcases, boomboxes and champagne bottles. The QR code was then photographed and sent out as limited edition prints so that lucky recipients can scan the code with their phone or tablet to launch Sykes’ new website.
ed: YES!! There was a photoshopped-together QR code submitted recently, but this one looks legit! Bravo, Sykes.
